About Heather Mask
Hello. I am Heather, and I look forward to getting to know you. Hopefully the following will help you to get to know me a little better.
My educational background is in psychology and social work. I have over a decade of experience providing clinical mental health therapy working with all ages of youth and adult individuals, as well as supporting parents, families, and couples.
I believe everyone has personal strengths and is capable of growth. I believe in creating a safe space and building a therapeutic relationship as the basis for positive change. I am passionate about partnering with people on their personalized goals, for mental and holistic health as well as focusing on relationship dynamics if you would like.
I am skilled in focusing on mood and anxiety disorders, emotional and behavioral dysregulation, neurodiversity, self-image, relationship and family dynamics, parenting issues, grief and loss, trauma, and other life stressors and transitions. Mainly I focus on a strengths-based approach to view a person within their environment, exploring self-awareness, fostering motivation, and utilizing a cognitive behavioral framework with an eclectic mix of specialized interventions to support the mental health goals of clients. My therapy style is warm and interactive.
If you are ready to take the next step in your personal wellness journey, I am here to support and empower you in processing and growing through any challenges in your life. I look forward to meeting with you soon.
