About Corey
I’ve had experience with working in the mental health field for 10+ years. I’ve recently been working with individuals in the community living with a mental illness, more specifically schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and bipolar disorder. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Penn State University and received my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Holy Family University. I am licensed as an LPC for the state of Pennsylvania. My approach is treatment is client-centered, in that, the client is the most important person in this therapeutic relationship, as well as in their lives. Treatment is focused on the here-and-now while also coping with past experiences that continue to trouble the individual. Therapy in an on-going process and isn’t always focused on one modality. When clients have a better understanding of what is bothering them in their present lives, they become more adapt at handling difficult situations with multiple outlooks/strategies.
