About Rachel Margolin

I am a licensed clinical social worker in Pennsylvania and New Jersey with over 25 years of experience working as a therapist and life coach. I am a LGBTQ+ affirmative. I have worked with clients with a wide range of difficulties including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, loss of a loved one, trauma, and physical and sexual abuse.

My counseling style is warm and interactive. My clients are the experts’ of their life experiences, so I work hard to listen to their needs and meet them just where they are. Together we work to overcome their challenges. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and rational-emotive counseling.

It takes courage to ask for help so I applaud you for taking this first step. Please know that I am here to support and empower you and move you towards a more fulfilling and happier life.

I look forward to hearing from you and working with you!

“I felt comfortable sharing my intrusive thoughts with Rachel within our very first session because she is just so non-judgemental. Each session after that continued to feel like a weight lifted off by telling her everything on my mind. She really listens to your worries and points out the concrete ways you are putting more effort into bettering yourself than you realized. Rachel helped me come up with helpful responses to my negative and unwanted thoughts, which helped me have more normal, calm, present days. I am so thankful for her!”
