About Carolyn “Ashley” Wanyonyi

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in Nevada and Maine with over 10 years of experience working with individuals, families, children and couples. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including stress and anxiety, relationship difficulties, coping with grief and loss, life changes, parenting challenges and depression. I have also worked as a therapist in foster care and with families who have medically fragile children.

I approach every person and their area of concern as unique and provide help from a non-judgmental lens. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach utilizes ideas from cognitive-behavioral, narrative, person centered and humanistic theories. All of our dialogue and the treatment plan will be tailored to meet your specific and unique needs.

It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!
