About Scott Kilousky

I’m currently available for short-term, focused therapy. I work well with clients who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck in relational patterns, navigating anxiety, or trying to better understand themselves.

Short-term work can be helpful for grounding, gaining clarity, identifying patterns, and deciding what next steps feel right. I’ll be transparent about what I can offer and will help us use the time intentionally.

My style is collaborative, curious, and direct. I try to create a space where we can slow things down, make sense of what is happening, and pay attention to the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. I’m interested not only in what is going wrong, but in how you experience yourself, your relationships, and the choices in front of you.

“Amazing therapist . Very focused. Excellent communicator”

“Scott has helped me out immensely! Highly recommend”

“Scott listens and guides with compassion. Genuinely makes me feel safe.”

“Very open and good listener, provides a safe space to express”

“Great guy who really helps me pick apart my ramblings lol”

“Mr. Kilousky is absolutely my VIBE (I'm very young). He really does listen to what I say, and not only relates and shares on a personal level, but also helps me organize my rambling into concise statements. I appreciate that so much. It truly helps me realize my feelings when my thoughts don't quite make it clear to me. I appreciate a straight who makes me feel entirely comfortable. :)”

“Scott is very down to earth and has an uncanny ability to create and hold space for his clients, not an easy thing to do over telehealth. He offers empathetic feedback and sound guidance for those who are willing to let down their guard.”

“Awesome”

“Scott is a great therapist. He’s great and mirroring and motivational interviewing. I would recommend Better Health in hopes that friends or family would be matched with him.”

“Extremely happy!”

“I’ve had about five therapists over the past few years of treatment, and Scott is the best one I’ve ever had.
He’s willing to go into the dark places with you, but always asks if you’re comfortable doing so. He never pushes you into a conversation you don’t want to have. And when we are discussing a topic, he will speak honestly about what it’s bringing up for him in his life, and it’s really nice to receive that empathy and feel like I’m less alone. Even with all this, he still manages to be funny in a casual and authentic way.

He’s really helped me on my journey and often has great insights that I think about throughout the week. If you want to dig deep with someone, or even just vent about relationships in your life, Scott is down for either.”

“Scott is great at listening and empathizing to get to the route of my troubles.”

“Scott provides a genuine and supportive space to dissect and process your thoughts. He allows ample time to feel heard through reflection and thoughtful inquiry.”

“Scott is a wonderful listener. He always finds the essence of my concerns and gives insightful feedback. Our sessions are always meaningful!”

“From our first conversation, I feel safe and heard but also feel understood.”
