Hello my name is San Juanita (Janie) Diaz. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. and have 29 years of counseling experience. I specialize in helping women over the age of 5o manage anxiety due to life changes. My other specialties are: Living with chronic illness and improving your relationship with yourself. My therapy modality is integrative. I primarily utilize a person-centered approach and include as needed Cognitive Behavior therapy, supportive therapy, mindfulness, and strength/ values based. I believe that establishing/ strengthening rapport and the therapeutic alliance are vital to counseling.
