About Pamela Rowell

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas with 6 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families. The issues I have worked with many experience including addiction and recovery counseling, depression, anxiety, stress, conflict resolution, anger management, PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder),, ADHD, ADD, OCD, grief and loss, career challenges, and relationship issues just to name a few.

My counseling style is warm, empathetic and direct. I believe in empowerment and self-confidence and treat everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I don’t believe in labeling and I am determined to be unbiased and objective so as to meet you right where you are. My approach to counseling combines different theories and styles and so is eclectic. Some of the styles I incorporate include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Reality Therapy, rational-emotive Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and motivational interviewing, but I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

I applaud your courage to seek out help to have a happier and more fulfilling life that promotes change. If you are ready to take the next step toward that, I am here to support and empower you!

I look forward to working with you,
Pamela G. Rowell, LPC
