“When looking for a therapist to speak to, I was initially recommended therapists that were younger than myself. I was looking for someone who had more experience and possibly several jobs to understand where I currently am in my life. Joyce is pleasant and listens very intently and has the ability to sum up and reiterate what I said to let me know she heard me and understands what is being communicated. Joyce is very good about not feeding into a spiral or worrisome thought process but rather to give advice on how to separate rational from irrational thoughts. She takes the time to get her patient to understand how thoughts and emotions are interconnected. I realize that only 6 sessions is not enough to completely change how I react to stressful or anxiety filled situations, but I can appreciate the benefit that Joyce brings to the learning and growth process.”

“Joyce is great. She is like talking to a family member or friend rather than what you would typically think of when you think of therapy. She is really helping me. I did accidentally press completely disagree to a question...this was a mistake. Joyce is there to support me. I would recommend her to anyone looking for someone to talk to.”

“Joyce is great! Only a few sessions under our belt but she’s been more than helpful with everything I haven going on. A great listen with a lot of insight. Lets you be you and feels like talking to an informed non biased friend.”

“Joyce listens very well and offers clear guidance in a very professional manner.”

“She’s the best safe space for me. Best therapist ever.”

“She completely understands my issues and the detailing that she gives me allows me to get a step up on what my issues are and how to handle them”

“Joyce always answers in a timely manner and is gentle, compassionate and relates well to teens. She is genuine and thorough with her assessment and listening. I would highly recommend her to anyone with a struggling teen.”

“Each week I feel stronger.”

“Joyce has been incredibly supportive and has helped me in so many ways especially how to be more positive as well as helping me slow down and approach personal problems in stages without trying to solve everything all at once”

“I worked with Joyce for about 4 months when my relationship with my fiancé seemed hopeless. I was very comfortable being honest and vulnerable with her. Her intuition was astounding. I was able to pinpoint things about myself and my personality that I knew but never was able to define. I highly recommend speaking with her to work through tough issues. She is a very special person with a kind heart.”

“She is a phenomenal therapist. She is. Comforting and has helped uproot some problems I didn’t even notice and it has made a great difference in my everyday life. She is calm and caring and makes a safe environment to open up.”
