About Alexandra Conrad

I am a LICSW and C-DBT and have been working with children, adolescents, families, and adults for over eighteen years. I received my BA with high honors in Psychology from Clark University and subsequently my MSW from Boston College. I have experience working in community based settings, outpatient clinics, schools, crisis situations, and individuals in state hospital levels of care.

Collaborative therapeutic relationships are the essence of providing the environment for you to feel comfortable and make the progress you and/or your loved ones deserve. I strive to make goals into realities through sessions which may evoke strong emotions while also building on your confidence and strengths.. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, motivation, self esteem, and confidence, & depression. I love being able to creatively establish rapport and make sessions productive and also therapeutically fun such that we can make progress together. I utilize a blend of DBT and CBT modalities as well as skills from motivational interviewing and narrative therapy. I believe in the work I do and keeping individuals and families safe within their own communities. I also believe positive mental health and well-being are not just goals to achieve but gifts to receive.

I look forward to hearing from you and helping work on your journey together!
