About Jeremy Combs

I am a Michigan, South Carolina, and Tennessee-licensed clinical social worker with over 25 years of experience working as a therapist. I have spent the majority of my career as a Social Worker on Active Duty with the military, treating conditions from mild anxiety/depression to PTSD. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD, and ADHD. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.

My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach strength-focused, supportive therapy. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you! .

“Jeremy Combs is sensitive and understanding he provides viable suggestions and things to consider. I highly recommend him.”

“Jeremy is extremely easy to talk to.<br /> My parter has been very hesitant but Jeremy has made it a very good experience so far.”

“Jeremy is an awesome guy and will genuinely help you through your problems.”

“Excellent listener and will shoot you straight right from the rip.”

“Great counselor.”

“Jeremy relates incredibly well to both my husband and I”

“Jeremy is quite frankly a Godsend. His ability to empathize, dissect, communicate, and understand the "why" behind the issues - I just can't say enough good things about him. I was highly skeptical of doing video therapy online. Jeremy Combs completely changed that, and my life is measurably better from having his guidance in it. 27 stars out of 5.”

“Jeremy was so helpful and respectful to me. Truly understood what I was going through and offers great help! Highly recommend him to anyone that needs to talk!”

“He’s absolutely wonderful”

“I have searched for and tried a handful of therapist over the years who I could not quiet connect with. I felt either they “sugar coated” their wording or sided with my feelings, neither of which I wanted! I decided to choose a male therapist for the first time, and after reading his military background I felt I would get a more direct and honest therapist. Upon initial introduction I asked for Jeremy to be direct, up front and honest with me and not to sugar coat things in fear of hurting my feelings. I loved the way he talked to me directly as an individual and treated me as someone who needed an honest opinion and insight on moving forward on a tough time in life. Jeremy gave me hope that life will get better with change and perspective. The way he uses the “real world” perspectives verse the tip toe method I felt was used with other therapists I experienced made me feel much more connected to a real person!”

“Jeremy is a fairly straightforward type of therapist, and for me that’s what’s needed”

“We have been seeing Jeremy for couples counciling. He is extremely insightful and methodical. He has shown us great caring and compassion. Jeremy will call it like he sees and isnt afraid to make you do the heavy lifting if that is what it takes to move you along in your healing process.”
