About Cora

Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, and you deserve a space where you can show up exactly as you are.

I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with experience working with children, teens, adults, and families through difficult transitions, trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, family conflict, and other life challenges. My approach is warm, genuine, and down-to-earth. I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable being yourself—not when you feel like you have to say the “right” thing.

I use a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach and tailor therapy to the individual rather than expecting every person to fit into the same treatment model. Depending on your needs, our work may include developing coping skills, exploring patterns and relationships, processing difficult experiences, building confidence, improving communication, or simply creating a safe place to sort through what feels overwhelming.

My goal is to provide a space that is welcoming, supportive, and free of judgment. I enjoy incorporating humor, creativity, and real conversation into therapy when appropriate. Therapy can involve difficult work, but it doesn’t have to feel clinical or uncomfortable all the time.

I have extensive experience supporting individuals and families affected by trauma, foster care, adoption, family changes, and complex life circumstances. I understand that people are shaped by their experiences, relationships, environments, and strengths—and I believe those things should all be considered when we work together.

Most importantly, I want you to feel heard. You don’t have to have everything figured out before beginning therapy. We can start wherever you are and work together toward where you’d like to be.

Come as you are. We’ll find the way forward together.
