About Christopher Lawitzke

My name is Chris Lawitzke and I have been working in the human services since 2009 and been a licensed clinical social worker and therapist since 2019. I’ve specialize in life transition over the course of my career and seek to assist people with the development of support strategies including use of Dialectical and cognitive behavioral therapies, Gottman couple counseling methods, and motivational interviewing.

Within these methods, I prioritize coping strategies, boundary development, impact and development of skills to manage rigid thinking, processing through various life experiences, and helping clients to live their fullest lives as possible. I’m happy and excited to meet anyone who is seeking to make change in their lives and will help you to prioritize your needs, use session time effectively to meet your goals, while also using humor and a disarming approach to meet you where you’re at in your mental health journey and help you to find your next steps.
