About Christine Taylor

I am a licensed professional counselor and supervisor (LPC-S) with 16 years of counseling experience. I have worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, stress, and relationship issues, as well as trauma and emotional abuse histories.

I often draw from person-centered, humanistic, psychodynamic, and cognitive-behavioral approaches, while thoughtfully tailoring my therapeutic style to meet each client’s unique needs.

I believe that every person is on their own individual path, and my role as a therapist is to offer support and encouragement as clients navigate challenges and work toward meaningful change. If you are ready to take the next step on your journey to a happier and more fulfilled life, I am here to empower and support you.

Some things to know before choosing to work with me:
1. My sessions are set to 45 minutes and my clients schedule their weekly sessions by choosing a session time that works with their schedule. This is done on a first-come, first-served basis.
2. Because this is an online platform, both electrical power and internet connection are necessary. Should there be a power outage or internet problem on either side, we will have to reschedule our session.
3. If you are unable to attend a scheduled session, please let me know the day before if possible so that I can make that time available to other clients.
4. I do not provide crisis counseling on this platform. If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911, your local emergency services, or go to your nearest hospital emergency department.

“Christine is….truly unique among therapists. She is a genuine listener who is also able to reflect my words back to me and ask relevant questions that move our conversation forward. She is empathetic and I feel that she actually cares. And when we finish speaking each week, I feel like I have a new point of view, a new perspective on the complex problems that I’m dealing with. I feel lucky to be working with Christine.”
