My practice theories include; cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, mindfulness, strength-based, solution-focused, motivational interviewing, attachment theory, and didactic.
The approach I take towards the therapeutic relationship is heavy with compassion, supportive like a friendship, filled to the brim with positive regard for you, and desire for you achieve the absolute best things out of life.
“Compassion is not a relationship between a healer and the wounded. It’s a relationship between equals. Only when we know our darkness well, can we be present with the darkness of others. Compassion becomes real when we recognize our shared humanity.” — Pema Chödrön
I am here to support and encourage you. I look forward to working together!
