Hi, my name is Andrea, and I am a licensed clinical social worker in Florida. I have worked in a variety of settings during my 21 years in the mental health field, both inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as in elementary & middle school settings. My client base has included adults as well as children, and we’ve focused on areas such as anxiety/worry, parenting & addressing challenging behavior in children, stress management, self-esteem, confidence, depression, and life changes. I firmly believe everyone deserves respect, dignity, sensitivity, and compassion. Life can be very challenging – no one deserves to be judged or have their feelings devalued. We will work together to meet your unique needs and enhance your set of coping skills. Taking the initiative to start therapy is courageous, and you should be proud of yourself for taking this step. I promise to show up and do the work with you – you must also agree to show up and actively do the work of therapy. I generally respond to messages weeknight evenings, between 5-9pm, within 24 business hours. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you.
