Carolina McLemore
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
About Carolina
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, carrying the weight of past experiences, or simply exhausted from trying to manage everything on your own, you don’t have to navigate it alone. Whether you’re a teen or an adult, therapy can be a place where you finally feel understood, supported, and able to exhale.
I believe healing begins when you have a safe space to be yourself, without judgment, pressure, or the feeling that you have to have it all figured out. I work alongside you to help you understand your experiences, make sense of difficult emotions, and build lasting tools that help you feel more grounded, confident, and connected in your daily life. I also have a growing passion for supporting first responders and understands the unique challenges that can come with carrying the emotional weight of serving others.
Using a trauma-informed, client-centered approach, I integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic mindfulness, and nervous system-informed techniques to help you move beyond simply coping and begin truly healing. I also incorporate Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), an evidence-based approach that can help reduce the emotional impact of painful memories so they no longer feel like they’re controlling your life.
Clients often appreciate my calm, compassionate presence and ability to create an environment where they feel genuinely heard, respected, and accepted. Whether you’re working through trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or simply feeling stuck, I will meet you where you are and help you move toward where you want to be, at a pace that feels right for you.
