About Willie Whited

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (in the State of Georgia) with a master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling. I have worked in Mental Health in various Clinical areas since 1980, accumulating 30 + years of experience. I have worked with individuals experiencing Serious Mental Illnesses, life-disrupting personality disorders, and people facing challenges with co-occurring conditions (Mental Health and Substance Use). My work with co-occurring disorders awarded me recognition by the NAACP and the privilege of completing certification with the Morehouse School of Medicine, Community Health Leadership Program, Satcher Health Leadership Institute (along with other demonstrations of helping others)
Although most of my experience has been with Adult Individuals, I have ten years of work with Children and Adolescents in the Community and designated Facilities. My therapeutic style is on the needs of motivations of each person. My approach is eclectic, tailored towards the identified concerns of everyone with a selection of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I also use other technics consistent with Best Practices.
The courage to identify distractions and the need for change can be brutal for many who do not realize the merits of identifying challenges providing opportunities for personal growth. I strive to assist individuals in their Journey towards self-fulfillment.
I look forward to assisting you in your Journey.
