About Victoria Davila

I am a licensed mental health counselor working in the state of Florida. I graduated with a master’s degree in mental health counseling from Nova Southeastern University. I work with individuals from diverse backgrounds with a variety of challenges ranging from depression, anxiety, panic, PTSD, relationship issues, trauma, grief and loss, addiction, major life transitions and attachment disorders.

My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels. I work to build a safe, healing and effective therapeutic bond with careful consideration of the influences of culture, race, gender, age, sexuality, finances and religious beliefs. I believe in building a trusting and committed therapeutic relationship. I strive to help uncover, understand and heal root causes to present problems, and to discover new and meaningful potential.

I appreciate and admire the strength and courage it takes to reach out and seek counseling.

I look forward to working with you!

“Victoria has been so wonderful! She is very good at listening and helping you find ways to work on things, even if the delivery of your issues comes out all over the place or feels confusing. 10/10 I would recommend.”

“She has been very supportive of my needs, she listens and not only validates my feelings she also gives me input on how to better cope or adjust things.”

“She’s amazing!”

“Victoria is a really wonderful therapist. She's attentive, and really listens to the concerns and areas that I want to work on. She's flexible with her session times as well, and responds promptly to messages. I have found her very helpful, and I would highly recommend her.”

“I look forward to continued work with you!”

“Victoria is such a wonderful listener. She comes through incredibly warm and provides a safe space for expression. I am so incredibly grateful for her help during some of the rockiest time of my life. She helped me understand how to confront the problems that existed within my family dynamic by offering effective techniques and strategies.”

“Victoria has been a great help during a particularly stressful change in life. She's helped me adjust to life with a new roommate and how to prioritize enforcement of my boundaries. I am for now stopping therapy but not because of a discontent with my therapist, just need to save money for now. I would highly recommend Victoria, and Victoria, thank you for all of your help. I hope to speak again soon.”

“Victoria is a wonderful listener. My partner and I are impressed by her ability to pickup on the little things and things unsaid. Her happy positive attitude is infectious. Extremely professional highly recommend!”

“The information that Victoria has given me was really helpful I was able to understand things really clearly”

“My time with Victoria has proven to be invaluable to my healing these past couple of months. Together we've tackled some pretty heavy topics and throughout the toughest lockdown, when I felt quite alone, Victoria was always someone I could turn to and talk with. I've recommended Better Help to everyone I know because of my brilliant experience with Victoria.”

“I really feel Victoria understands me as if she knows me, and has a proactive approach to addressing my needs. She’s flexible, kind, and honest.”

“Victoria is always sending me tools for success. I feel supported and understood.”

“I normally don't write reviews but working with Victoria has been a really great experience. I have had negative experiences with counselors in the past who expressed judgment over things I shared. That's never been the case with Victoria. She's helped me build up my confidence and she's helped me work through heartbreak and see the unhealthy patterns in my dating life as well as the stresses and anxiety of working full-time while in grad school... during a pandemic! She's helped me dive deeper and look inward at the root of my "issues" and I always look forward to our sessions. I used to think therapy had to be in person but now I recommend BetterHelp to my friends and family.”

“I’ve been working with Victoria Davila for a couple of months now, and throughout that time I’ve reached new heights in my life and with her help, made so many changes for the better. She is a great listener and very supportive. I’m very happy I was matched with her through betterhelp.”

“She is so empathic and understanding, she makes me feel validated and she also challenges me in a way that puts me out of my comfort zone which I am so grateful for”
