About Vakhtang

I have over 12 years of experience providing therapy in person as well as online. My clinical approach is psychodynamic psychotherapy.

I have experience effectively helping individuals from all over the world, different cultures, ethnicities, religious beliefs, and gender identities. My therapist’s toolbox contains methods that you can learn and use independently in your daily life to alleviate stress, avoid anxiety and panic attacks and overcome depression. If you want to explore your emotions, be able to be more conscious of your internal processes and work through your early life experiences I can offer you my psychodynamic skills that can help you understand yourself better and reach significant insights through therapeutic relationship.

We are living though chaotic and stressful times when it can be hard to find meaning in our experiences, and purpose for our actions, but by exploring your values, relationships and life story we can find a way for you to feel empowered and see the way forward.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to me, I check my messages several times a day.

What clients say

  • “I really appreciate the combination of support and gentle push back when I am being a bit delusional with myself. Great that he brings in a number of perspectives (not just psychological, but social conditions, etc.) as a lens of how to view issues through. Would absolutely recommend.”
  • “Vakhtang is very professional and experienced therapist. I found it easy to talk to him and share my concerns. I highly recommend him!”
  • “I am incredibly grateful for the compassion, guidance, and especially the way that he leads me generally find conclusions myself through his questioning but will intervene directly if he feels I'm missing the obvious. I also appreciate that we sometimes talk about structural social issues impacting mental health, vs. only discussing the individual.”
