I’ve been guiding patients and couples toward emotional well-being for over 38 years. Kindness, compassion, and a capacity for deep listening allows for the co-creation of a secure therapeutic alliance and an emotionally satisfying relationship. Working one-on-one with hundreds of adult, young adults and couples, has enabled me to understand and assess the unique needs of each of my patients.

Incorporating current advances in neuroscience and attachment theory, I utilize contemporary relational methods to effectively help my patients successfully navigate life’s complex ebb and flow.

I also have extensive experience helping couples to develop the skills necessary to sustain a healthy, long term relationship. By exploring individual and shared histories, partners learn to understand each other in new and unexpected ways; a process that heals old wounds, while creating functional systems that promote mature emotional intimacy.
