About Sheri Bell-O’Gara

I am a Clinical Social Worker in the state of Indiana. I have been in practice for nearly 30 years specializing in trauma, anxiety disorders, depression and other mental health related issues. I have been trained in and specialize in the following therapies: EMDR, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, CBT and CBT for Insomnia, as well as Grief and Loss. I am currently training in Somatic Therapy. I have worked with returning combat veterans (Iraq and Afghanistan and other war zones), hospice clients and geriatric clients. I work with my clients to find the right approach for them, I go where my client goes. I do not try to fit people into a certain box or category. We are all different and I appreciate that. I tend to be a very compassionate therapist who enjoys using humor when it is appropriate. I think laughter can get us through some difficult times. I try to help clients find something they can laugh about.

I am available to meet via video, chat, texting or phone. I believe I have skills that can help you work through your concerns. I would love the opportunity to meet with you, I will be supportive. Please give me a call.
