About Sarah Baumgardner
I’m a therapist with over a decade of experience supporting individuals through complex emotional and relational challenges. I work with clients across the lifespan, bringing specialized expertise in working with children and adolescents, trauma, addiction, LGBTQ+ concerns, and neurodevelopmental differences like ADHD.
My approach is person-centered, culturally responsive, and my most utilized modality of treatment is that of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I’m committed to creating an affirming space where you feel heard and respected, regardless of your background, identity, or life circumstances. I work with a wide range of concerns—from anxiety and grief to relationship dynamics, family patterns, and questions about identity and purpose.
I’m particularly drawn to helping clients navigate shame, build self-compassion, and develop healthier communication and attachment patterns. Whether you’re processing past experiences, working through life transitions, or exploring who you are and what matters to you, I’m here to support your growth with honesty, warmth, and genuine care.
I believe therapy works best when it’s collaborative. You know your story; I’m here to help you understand it more deeply and move forward with clarity and strength.
