About Sandy Seward

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) in Texas. I started my career in counseling because I saw how fear and uncertainty about the future can leave people feeling alone and doubting their potential. One of the things I love most about this work is helping people recognize the strengths they already have, and creating a plan of action to help them move toward the life they want. I enjoy collaborating with clients to brainstorm goals, explore possibilities, and create space for growth—all in a supportive, non-judgmental environment.

I provide messaging support between sessions, ensuring ongoing guidance with timely responses.

My therapeutic style is both compassionate and practical. I specialize in working with individuals navigating ADHD, emotional regulation challenges such as anger, and the everyday stressors that can make life feel overwhelming. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) in my work, approaches that help you understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected, and empower you to take small, meaningful steps toward change.

In our work together, I’ll help you identify and challenge your inner critic, build mindfulness, and create S.M.A.R.T. goals (Specific, Measurable, Action-Oriented, Realistic, and Timely) that make progress feel achievable. We’ll focus on finding solutions, strengthening emotional awareness, and celebrating the wins along the way.

If you’re ready to explore your potential, find clarity and purpose, or reduce the impact of stress in your life, I would love to support you. By scheduling a session, we can begin building confidence, developing coping strategies, and working toward the goals that matter most to you.

“Awesome therapist. Knowledgeable and compassionate”

“We’ve only had 2 sessions, but I already feel lighter when I speak with her. She sometimes offers me a different perspective of what I might think is going on and that is much appreciated”

“Sandy Seward has been an amazing help through my journey. She always has solid information to produce and has provided many helpful tools and references to further help on the days without a session. I had been through several other therapist, and that’s ok.. not everyone is a good fit. Sandy clicked right away and I could tell she has passion in what she does, because every chat is met with a smile. Thank you Sandy Seward and thank you BetterHelp.”

“I truly don’t have enough words to express how grateful I am for Sandy. She has been an absolute light in my life—helping me work through years of emotional weight and patterns I never even realized were holding me back. From our very first session, I felt seen, heard, and completely supported.

Sandy has a gift for making you feel safe and validated, but she also gently challenges you to grow in the ways you truly need. Her insight, compassion, and patience have changed my life more than I ever expected. I’ve made more progress in a few months with her than I did in years of trying on my own.

If you're looking for someone who is deeply intuitive, kind, and genuinely invested in your healing—Sandy is that person. I honestly adore her and can't recommend her enough.”
