About Sandra DeCarolis

Hi. My name is Sandra DeCarolis and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor in Colorado. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from CU Denver and a Master’s degree in Counseling from Regis University in Denver. I am also a Certified Trauma Informed Care Practitioner. I have worked with a variety of clients ages 16 – 100 that present with a variety of issues and concerns including but not limited to: trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar, mood disorders and substance abuse. Or, they may be dealing with communication issues, self-esteem or social anxiety problems.

I am integrative in my approach to therapy in that I utilize Person Centered, Solution Focused, Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioral Therapies to assist during the sessions; whatever feels appropriate. My treatment approach is based on developing a therapeutic relationship with the client that has its foundation in trust. I will also utilize your strengths to help you achieve your desired changes and treatment goals.

I believe people have enormous potential and it is my desire to help them achieve the happiness, wholeness and the balance they desire in their lives by facilitating awareness and by introducing them to a variety of coping skills that they can utilize in times of duress.

I applaud your courage for reaching out for assistance and I look forward to witnessing your healing and evolution.
