Rebecca Knutson
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
About Rebecca
I’m a therapist dedicated to supporting individuals through life’s most challenging moments. My work centers on creating a safe, affirming space where you can explore your authentic self—whether that involves navigating identity, relationships, trauma, or questions about meaning and purpose.
I bring a trauma-informed, client-centered approach to therapy, drawing on evidence-based practices to address anxiety, stress, relationship dynamics, and the complex emotions that often accompany major life transitions. I’m particularly passionate about working with LGBTQ+ clients and those exploring alternative relationship structures, as well as supporting individuals healing from trauma, abuse, and attachment wounds.
My areas of focus include self-compassion and forgiveness, communication skills, family and relational patterns, mood challenges, and the intersection of identity and belonging. I also work with concerns like grief, shame, self-harm, dissociation, and the unique pressures of caregiving and workplace stress.
I believe therapy works best when built on honesty, respect, and genuine collaboration. My role is to listen without judgment, ask thoughtful questions, and help you reconnect with your own wisdom and resilience. I’m honored to walk alongside you as you move toward greater clarity, healing, and wholeness.
