“I originally began therapy as part of couples counseling, and when the relationship ended, I chose to continue individually. I knew I didn’t want to work with anyone other than Poythress. She is an exceptional therapist who creates a comforting, trusting connection with her clients. She addresses and assesses every concern with a fine-toothed comb, and I always feel truly heard. I leave each session with real solutions, deeper insight, and meaningful food for thought. Working with her has made a genuine difference in my life.”

“Very caring and compassionate therapist. She was a delight to talk with and I definitely recommend her.”

“Very good therapist”

“I love working with polythress, she is such a breath of fresh air. Her entire demeanor is so calming and she has a way of addressing all of my concerns in a way that is not only non judgemental but realistic. She is very down to earth, I am so thankful I chose her to take me on this healing journey.”

“Love Poythress she really listen to me”

“I started off in couples therapy and connected and resonated well with Poythress and when the relationship ended I joined better help for individual therapy and couldn't see myself with a New therapist. Glad I was able to get put back into her catalog.”

“10/10 recommend this therapist. I really appreciate everything they have done to help me.”

“The greatest therapist hands down”

“Ms/Mrs Mitchell is a wonderful woman to talk to.”

“Poythress brings a calm, but firm energy to our sessions. She’s an active listener and provides tools and suggestions without feeling judgmental or pushy. She has a great sense of humor and I’ve thoroughly benefited from our sessions.”

“I have thoroughly enjoyed having Mrs. Mitchell as my therapist. It’s been a great experience working with her. I feel as if I’m coming out of a shell after 47 years. I feel phenomenal”

“She’s amazing! I’ve been very hesitant to try therapy again as I haven’t found meshed well with my therapists in the past, but Poythress as a way of being real with you but no judgmental at the same time that’s refreshing! I would recommend her a million times over”

“Ms. Poythress has been a great help with the sessions that I've had last summer.”

“I greatly appreciate that Poythress Mitchell
makes me laugh in our video calls
together each week.
I also greatly appreciate how she has
“real talk” with me and it doesn’t feel “clinical.”
Furthermore, I greatly appreciate how she shares tidbits of her life with me
(i.e. the joy of having a kindergarten-age granddaughter), which I love hearing about because I am a kindergarten teacher.”

“Poythress has been my therapist through some of the most difficult times in my career. She has given me a very good perspective and sage advice during my troubles.”
