About Patricia Greer

Feeling stressed, anxious, confused, bored, lonely, sad or down? Struggling with an addiction? Over the years I have helped many people work through these issues to empower them to improve and enjoy a better quality of life.

I know firsthand how it may feel vulnerable and unsettling to reach out and ask for help with therapy. However, I firmly believe we all deserve the opportunity to improve ourselves.

I am a LCSW and LCAS, a skilled and accomplished Behavior Health Therapist with integrity, empathy and compassion specializing in the treatment of co-occurring Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders to empower clients and their families to improve their quality of life.

Since 2005 I have worked with clients of all ethnic and demographic background. I am experienced with multiple treatment modalities to help individuals and families with various issues, including effective communication, practical coping skills, major traumas and losses, grief, depression, anxiety, anger management/healthy relationships, alcohol/drugs, lifestyle adjustments, and parenting.

My goal and hope are to help people find their own voice with assertiveness skills and become comfortable in their own skin to live a better and more fulfilling life.

I look forward to working with you!

“Patricia is fantastic and is helping me become the person I know I can be I would recommend her to everyone that is having trouble finding their way”

“She is very patient with me and very knowledgeable about the exact things I am going through. Her recommendations for me have been easy to apply in real life and have helped me a lot with situations I’ve needed encouragement in. I really enjoy her style of therapy and putting me in role-plays that I can act out as if it were happening in real life. It prepares me for conversations I know I will eventually have and she teaches me how to not be afraid of avoiding conflict. She has also taught me coping skills which are very important for me to know how to handle situations when my anger flares up. I highly recommend Patricia has anyone’s therapist because she has helped me so much, especially since I have had other therapist in the past that have been nowhere near as helpful as her.”

“Patricia is great! I’ve been seeing her for only a few times, but thus far she’s been great. She really listens and gives great “no fluff” advise which I truly appreciate.”

“I appreciate Patricia’s response and check in with her clients.”

“Patricia’s reframing techniques have really helped me. Highly recommend.”

“Following a trauma, it's impossible to describe the darkness and confusion. Never did I think someone could guide, encourage and appropriately shepherd someone to help them gain clarity as efficiently as Tricia did. I'm incredibly appreciative of Betterhelp.com and even more appreciative of the wise, caring and measured helping hand that Tricia extended.”

“Very knowledgeable and understanding. I feel I've made so much progress already in just 2 sessions. Very excited to continue.”

“Patricia has been one of the best therapists I have had over the course of 4 years. I highly recommend her to anyone I know. She very responsive and knowledgeable.”
