About Natalie

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Ohio and California and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri and Arizona with 28 years of experience working in crisis, outpatient and inpatient settings. I have worked with clients from 3 to the 90’s with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, anger management, career challenges, existential crisis, and ADHD. I also helped many people with debilitating medical illnesses and chronic pain. I am flexible and available for reality therapy if requested.
My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with unconditional positive regard. I am respectful, sensitive, and compassionate. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic, mindfulness and rational-emotive therapy. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life. You are taking steps towards change and I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!

  • “Natalie is open-minded, attentive, dynamic, and flexible. She does not mince words but at the same time, is diplomatic when making suggestions or offering guidance. Her approach is multimodal, and she pivots to another school of thought when the need arises. She respects diversity and factors it into her suggestions. I have had other therapist/counselors who feel the need to inject their own personal experiences or biases into the session. In the time that I have spent with Natalie, she has refrained from this unwarranted input.”

She is honest and forthcoming while also being supportive and kind. She will bring up things she observes and words them in a way that I never thought of which helps me to have aha moments. They sometimes produce great breakthroughs for me. I’m extremely happy with my progress And healing and working with Natalie as my therapist.”
  • “Natalie is thoughtful, patient, and knowledgeable and her guidance has been invaluable. Sometimes it's most helpful for me to "think outloud" and she responds as needed throughout the sessions and respects that working through things myself within the regularity and framework of therapy is beneficial in itself.”
  • “Empathetic and Thoughtful.”
