About Megumi Britt

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, licensed in Tennessee, w/ almost 15 years of experience. I have worked with adolescents and adults with various concerns including trauma victimization, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, adjustment issues and substance use relapse prevention. I also have experiences working with clients from juvenile and criminal courts, correctional facilities and residential programs, assisting them to achieve their goals and life changes.

My therapy style is based on a strengths-based and client-centered approach thru cognitive-behavioral therapy. I believe that everyone already has some qualities and strengths which could be used to begin making desired changes in life. I believe in treating clients with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

It takes courage to start the process of making changes in life and speaking to a therapist could be challenging at times. If/when you are experiencing difficulties/stress and your mental health is affected, I will be here to assist and support you.

I look forward to working with you!
