About Marlo
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Psychotherapist. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Psychology from California State University, Hayward in 2002 and a Master’s of Social Work from California State University, East Bay in 2008.
I offer a supportive environment where we can work together to increase your happiness and emotional wellness. It takes strength and courage to facilitate change. My passion is helping clients overcome obstacles and barriers so they can enjoy their best selves. Together, we will work to uncover and resolve underlying issues that are causing negative feelings and develop new thought patterns and behaviors to help enhance your mental and emotional wellbeing. We will also focus on establishing your personal goals, make adjustments as needed and develop a plan to achieve them together. Let’s plant and nurture the seed of hope as a part of your journey.

- “Marlo is extremely empathetic, talented, and patient. I am so please to be working with her in my healing journey.”
- “Marlo has provided me with incredible tools to help reach my future relationship goals alongside always remaining attentively present in the moment during our sessions. She reminds me that it's ok to tackle things slowly and one step at a time rather than trying to solve everything all at once (which is what I typically do...)

I'm so grateful for Marlo and her perfect balance of professionalism and tender care.”
- “Great listener provides a safe place to open up”
- “Ms. Lewis constantly reminded me to put myself first after years of people pleasing and serving others. She understood that I needed to take care of myself first before I did ANYTHING and held me accountable to that. Although I need a different type of therapy to further my journey, she was the first therapist that gave me patience, consistency, and reliability. She will forever be appreciated!”
- “She is great, responsive and has a calming voice.”
