About Lydia Fabbroni

I am a clinical social worker certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and trained in Prolonged Exposure. I have more than 15 years of experience working as a therapist, inpatient psychiatric social worker and an emergency room clinician. My clients have presented with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, severe emotion dysregulation and also have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.

My counseling style is collaborative, interactive and focuses on the core concepts of validation and change. My clients and I forge a therapeutic relationship that allows us to tackle difficult issues with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I believe in a no judgment zone which allows for clear appraisal of needed change. As a team we will together develop and treatment plan that meets your unique needs and goals.

I look forward to working with you to take the first steps towards change.

I look forward to working with you!
