About Lorri Romesberg

As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) based in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, I have dedicated over a decade to the practice of social work. I hold a master’s degree in social work from Boston University, complemented by a bachelor’s degree in social work from Cornell University. Throughout my career, I have actively engaged with individuals across various age groups, including children, adolescents, and adults, while also conducting evaluations and investigations for the Juvenile Courts.

My professional journey began by focusing on emergency services for children and providing support to families affected by abuse, neglect, and mental health challenges. Over time, my expertise expanded to encompass a wide range of areas, including parenting, trauma, depression, anxiety, adoption, and LGBTQ+ issues.

When working with clients, I adopt a person-centered approach that combines various treatment methodologies, tailored to meet the unique needs and concerns of each individual. Drawing on my training, I integrate elements of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) into my practice. By utilizing evidence-based techniques from these approaches, I assist clients in developing practical strategies to navigate challenges, manage emotions, and foster positive change in their lives.

Through a collaborative and empowering process, I work with my clients to develop personalized plans that align with their goals and aspirations. My aim is to provide a safe and supportive space where individuals can explore their experiences, overcome obstacles, and cultivate resilience.
