About Linda Levinson

After earning a dual degree in mental health and substance abuse treatment, I began to work with clients who were recovering from opioid abuse and co-occurring disorders. This gave me the unique capacity to help clients not only with addiction, but also trauma, stress, depression, low self-confidence, guilt & shame, anger, and anxiety among many other issues. In addition to general counseling services, I am seasoned in working with process addictions such as shopping, video gaming, Internet, exercise, gambling, and sex and love addictions.

I have worked with many clients in the LGBTQIA community and value diversity for others and myself. I have the knowledge and skills to work with clients who struggle with sexual identity and help emotionally work through many issues that arise as a result of sexual trauma, grief or dysfunction. I also work with many clients who open and/or non-monogamous relationships. I believe that acceptance and empowerment is the foundation of this work.

I use my accumulated skills to help you identify what is holding you back and how your past helps you identify your strengths to achieve the life you want. I can use a variety of approaches to fit your needs.

“It has been very helpful!”

“Linda is amazing, I would recommend her to anyone.”

“Linda is so sweet and kind. She listens to everything that I say and hear what I am hurting with, without interruptions. I know right now I’m still struggling but I know that she is also seeing progress in what I am doing. I just need to keep pushing forward and believe in myself no matter what. Linda has been the bestest therapist I’ve had so far (not saying my previous ones are the best cause they are as well) I just feel a lot more open to talk about anything, and to hear her feedback)”

“I absolutely love having Linda as a therapist!! She is very knowledgeable on everything I’ve talked to her about. When I tell her how I’m feeling or about things I’m doing that I feel people would judge me for, she’s supportive and there to tell or remind that I don’t need anyone’s permission or approval to do what I want as a 50+ year old woman. She has helped me get past some very hard times and deal with some past issues from trauma in my childhood. Linda is the best!!”
