Compassion, empathy and genuine love for people is what propels me to utilize the therapeutic process to listen, encourage, empower and uplift. My professional experience includes working with children, youth, and families to offer mental health support. In addition, I have worked closely with law enforcement as a co-responder and am also considered a Certified First Responder Counselor.
Psychotherapy Specializations include: Generalized anxiety disorder, work related stress, depression, relationship issues, PTSD, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity and Disorder (ADHD), Communication, Anger, and Parenting
I have experience working within the law enforcement community, foster care, community mental health and with people from various populations, including socioeconomic, ethnic, cultural, religious, and racial backgrounds. Cultural diversity and sensitivity is a priority in my practice.
Counseling Techniques: Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Play therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR and Grief therapy.
