About Krista Asp

I am a licensed clinical therapist who specializes in personal and relationship growth and rediscovery. I received my post graduate degree from one of the few CACREP accredited institutions, the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. My program focused on a wide variety of educational experiences that included cognitive and behavioral techniques to trauma focused therapy.

I have focused my practice with clients as solutions focused while maintaining an unconditional positive regard for each and every client. I am here for you and to be with you through your therapeutic journey to achieve balanced mental health within and wellbeing in your personal relationships. Each session together brings us closer to unearthing the person that you were born to be in this world.

Post graduate professional development has focused on MBSR (Mindfulness based stress reduction) and EMDR (Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing). I am comfortable working with individuals and couples on a variety of mental health concerns and life transitions. Join me today on your path to self-discovery and healing.

She knows how to read my moods, get exactly what I need out of every session and how to get me to process all of my emotions in a really healthy manner. “I really appreciate Krista. I have gone through a few therapists and she is my favorite of all time. Krista listens, assesses, and brings up topics that are sensitive without making me feel badly about talking it out. I really appreciate that I can talk to her about a wide variety of topics from work stress to relationships and everything in between. She always recommends great books or techniques to help me process grief and I feel like I have grown a lot in the short time we have been meeting. I also feel she has taught me tools to recognize problems as they are occurring or before and avoid possibly toxic situations. Krista has helped me reduce anxiety, think through situations and how to handle future problems and I am so grateful for her.”
