About Kenneth Denny

Hello, my name is Kenneth Denny. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 30 +years experience providing individual, couples and family therapy. I work with a broad range of presenting issues: such as anxiety, depression, trauma, guilt and shame, loss and grief, anger management, identity, relationship and parenting problems and workplace issues. I have also worked with a wide range of ethnic, cultural and economically diverse populations. I also work with LGBTQIA+ clients.

My counseling style is engaging, direct, relaxed, and encouraging. My treatment approach combines psycho educational, cognitive behavioral, mindfulness therapy and family systems and solution focused therapy. I provide a clinical space that is safe, non-judgmental and supportive. I use these models to assist clients to gain a deeper understanding of their thoughts, feelings, actions, triggers and entanglements. Together we develop a treatment plan that is tailored to address specific issues, increase self confidence in desired areas and to develop a tool kit for assertive self care and personal growth.

Taking a step in your own behalf is the first step in making important changes in your life and being happier and more fulfilled.
I look forward to hearing from you.

“I am deeply grateful for the therapeutic support I get with my therapist. It has helped me navigate a variety of very challenging life experiences with grace.”

“Mr. Denny is undoubtedly one of the best couple's therapist we've ever experienced. His ability to listen and then offer clear solutions/homework has helped my husband and I's communication in just 3 short sessions. We've been able to apply different techniques to help convey our logic and feelings which has helped us achieve a more productive outcome during disagreements. My husband and I were at a heavy crossroad before finding Mr. Denny- either we try one more thing to say we've exhausted all options or we divorce, and after the first session, we felt a bit more hopeful about the possibilities of a new future together. The work is intense, he is fast-paced and expects us to make the healing of our marriage top priority, he doesn't take lightly to excuses and expects you to show up with the different assignments he has assigned. It's been refreshing to find someone who doesn't care about the past but finds solutions for the now to help with the future.”

“Great. I definitely would recommend Mr. Denny for youth counciling”

“Excellent listener, honest feedback, thoughtful with the work.”

“We started couples therapy during a very difficult season in our marriage, and Kenneth has helped us gently uncover long-standing patterns that needed attention. He asks thoughtful, intentional questions and creates space for honest, sometimes hard conversations without judgment. Even when emotions run high, he remains calm, grounded, and focused on growth, accountability, and trust. The work isn’t easy, but it feels supportive, meaningful, and truly aimed at lasting change.”

“Kenny is great! I enjoy his approach to therapy, he provides tools to help you reach your goals right away instead of spending the first sessions venting about how messed up your life is lol. My partner and I both recommend Kenneth!”
