Hi, I’m Katie! I am so glad you’re here. From experience, I know reaching out for help can be hard. That may seem cliche, but one of my favorite things to do is see people grow and change the course of their life. Whether you are working through a life change, anxiety, depression, trauma, or gender identify issues, I am here for you. I believe you already have everything within you to succeed and I am just here to guide you in this important journey towards health and wellness! I also believe one of the very most important aspects of your success in therapy is a connection with your therapist – one where you can be authentic, speak your full truth, and feel heard. My therapeutic approach includes humor, empathy, openness, and dialogue. I utilize trauma-informed approaches and techniques and change these approaches to best meet the individual needs of my clients. How I see it is as such: your past experiences inform how you see the world now. Your thoughts, emotions, physical sensations and behaviors are all playing off of one another. So, if you change one, you can change the rest. Let’s get your mind right!

I got my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from The Ohio State University (Go Bucks!!!) and have lived between Ohio and Michigan my whole life. In my spare time I enjoy playing with my puppy, Ruby, eating at yummy restaurants and watching marathons of my favorite shows or sports.
