About June OConnor

Hi! My name is June. As you can see, I’m an older person. I’d like you to consider using me as your therapist because I am older. I have had many of the feelings you are experiencing myself. I’ve had some tough times and poor self esteem and worked through life shifts. I am able to teach some things that are only learned with age. I’ve practiced my skills for over 20 years. I went back to school late in life because I overcame struggles and wanted to help others do the same. I’ve seen a lot so I’m less judgmental.
It’s normal to feel uncomfortable when first starting therapy. I may challenge you but will do so safely. I love therapy, listening to others and sharing what I can. You will find I work hard for you.
The techniques I use are varied to my clients comfort. I believe all behaviors are for a positive intention. Some just don’t work anymore. I’d like to teach you new behaviors for that same intention that will work better.
I now live in Montana in the summer and Arizona the rest of the year. I am licensed to work with people from both states and no other states.

“June is the most compassionate and genuine therapist I have seen. She cares, listens and offers her best. I highly recommend June to anyone who needs support through their grief journey”

“June has a lot of experience not only in therapy, but in life’s journey. Working with June will help you sort out your situation, repair your relationship with yourself, and arm you with the tools and resources to create positive change in your life.”

“June is very gentle, patient, and compassionate in her work. Her calm presence and being put me at ease and helped me open up in an honest way. I am learning a lot about navigating complicated familial relationship dynamics, igniting my confidence and empowerment, and putting necessary, healthy boundaries in my life.”

“I had June as my therapist about 2 years ago. I'm excited to be back on better help and receive her help again. She was so sweet and very helpful.”

“We have just started but June listens and asks me reflective question which makes me reach for answers. It’s been helpful.”

“Really like June. She has helped me a lot”

“She is absolutely wonderful, she listens to me, asks me questions that help me think differently. She gives me worksheets and information on how to heal myself. I couldn’t recommend her more.”

“Although I have had only one session I find that June listens and really want to understand me.”

“June is a very down to earth caring therapist. She offers practical advice to help you navigate through difficulties.”

“June has been incredibly thoughtful and in tune to my family history and issues I've had since a child. I've been given worksheets, support and ways to focus on how I've responded in the past. She's validated feelings I have and given me good ways to be aware of the way my mind has controlled the messages I have given myself in the past. Hopefully I can be aware of this and work thru future circumstances in a different way. I already feel a greater awareness and strength to do things differently in the future. Hopefully.”

“June listened to my concerns, quickly offered different solutions I could try on my own. June has a background with years of experience and it shows when you are engaged in your session not only do you feel safe to open up but she isn’t quick to judge you she lets you express everything and really listens to you. I would recommend June again and again for stability, experience, and the safe space she creates for you during therapy.”

“June is an outstanding therapist, caring person and an exceptional support. I am grateful to have her during my unbearable loss”

“June is very knowledgeable and very helpful when it comes to acknowledging your own emotions. She listens and is attentive with the information she gives you in regards to what you’re going through.”

“June was very helpful.”

“June is empathetic, caring, and kind. She’s really experienced in helping with anxiety. I already feel a difference after just two sessions.”
