About Joy

If you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, grieving a loss, out of balance and alone, it’s time to get support to find a path to regain your peace of mind. You don’t need to be alone with sadness, pain or anxiety, I am here to encourage you to develop the skills to find your inner strength and change thoughts and emotional patterns that are keeping you feeling hopeless, stuck or unworthy. I work primarily with individuals in transition who are dealing with change or loss and are seeking support to grow spiritually and emotionally in order to move forward with realizing their dreams.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, with a Master of Science in Counseling and a Master of Arts in Spiritual Psychology. I have 7 years of experience in addiction counseling, family grief counseling and I support my clients to gain insight, strength and a greater sense of self-compassion and well-being.
I use a holistic approach of cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness and communication skills to heal relationships and change addictive behavior. My techniques include physical, mental, emotional and spiritual practices to assist you in regaining your clarity and enthusiasm for your life.

What clients say

  • “Joy Adle is a JOY! She introduced me to IFS which I immediately understood and related deeply with it. She introduced me to tapping. I love the tapping because it’s not a huge commitment ( which I tend to have commitment issues, and I will get extremely overwhelmed by) and it takes only 5 minutes of my time a day(or whenever I need it) and the results are big. I can relate to Joy as well being that she has gone through her share of traumas. Her joy is infectious and I appreciate it in our sessions because my joy has been depleted for a very long time. She’s changing my perspective on how I look at my current situation in a better light.”
  • “I’ve been working with Joy for the last few months, and it’s made a real difference in my life. She’s incredibly supportive and has helped me work through some difficult issues while also making genuine improvements to my overall health and wellbeing. I always feel heard and understood in our sessions, and I’ve grown so much because of her guidance. I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for a compassionate, effective therapist.”
  • “She is a sweetheart and very easy to talk with being i am a total skeptical of therapy but she done well”
