About Joshua
You are here because you matter. Thank you for taking the time to stop by. In a world full of people with unique experiences we all sometimes face difficulties. That’s why I am here to lend an ear, offer support, and help you reach new heights. My name is Josh I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of North Carolina and I made the decision that part of my mission here on Earth is to help support my fellow human beings. I have been in practice for over 4 years and I specialize in a wide area of concerns including depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, grief, relationship issues, parenting issues, negative self talk, and mood instability among various others.
My style is very laid back I am absolutely willing to meet you where you are. I am very solution focused, I want to help you get where you deserve to be. I use a strengths based approach with a high level of empathy and open-mindedness. I am here to walk with you along your journey and support you along the way. I am very in tune with dealing with a variety of emotions and hope to offer you a great non-biased experience of being able to openly talk in a safe space about anything you may be dealing with.
Should you feel in need of urgent help or that you are in crisis at any time during our work together; please call 1-800-273-TALK 24 hours a day; or 911. This forum does not provide any type of emergency services, so I want to be sure you know who to contact if you need immediate help.
I’m glad you’re here remember to breathe, unclinch your jaw, relax your shoulders, and move your tongue from the roof of your mouth. Sometimes we just need someone to talk to and that’s okay. I am here to empower you.
