John Cristofani
Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
About John
I’m a therapist with extensive experience supporting individuals ages 12-25 through a wide range of challenges. I work with clients navigating depression, anxiety, stress, self-esteem issues, anger management. communication and family conflicts, and social anxiety. As a former middle school and high school English and Social Studies teacher, I work with clients with school-related behavioral and academic challenges.
I specialize in helping young adults address attachment issues, mood disorders, impulsivity, and posttraumatic stress. I am experienced in supporting individuals with autism and Asperger’s syndrome, as well as those managing self-harm and control issues.
My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices and centers on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your concerns at your own pace. I believe in meeting clients where they are and collaborating with you to create meaningful change.
I’m committed to honoring your values and worldview as we work together. If you’re looking for a therapist who listens with genuine care and respect, I’d be honored to support you on your journey.
