About Dr. Johannes (Jean) Roux

About me:
I am Dr. Johannes (Jean) Roux, Ph.D., LMFT and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist/Psychotherapist. I provide personalized Tele-Psychotherapy and Behavioral Health Coaching that is culturally sensitive and inclusive. I create an environment that is compassionate, accepting, and non-judgmental. I have worked with individuals, couples and families seeking Psychotherapy and Coaching for over 20 years in my private practice and in hospital settings. Please read more about my background, education, experience and Psychotherapy approach by clicking on my name above our messages. My private practice hours are on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. I generally check messages once or twice per day on Tuesday -Thursday and respond as quickly as I can. I do appreciate your patience when it takes a bit longer at times, as I may be tending to other patient or client professional responsibilities.

Clinical Approach:
Cognitive-Behavioral, Brief Strategic Psychotherapy, Caring Science and Narrative Therapy.

Education:
I earned my Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees from the University San Francisco and I have a PhD degree in Clinical Health Psychology and Behavioral Medicine, from Northcentral University in La Jolla, California. I completed an Executive Leadership Program at Stanford University in Strategic Human Resources Management and I hold certifications in Clinical and Organizational Psychology, Executive Coaching, and am a HeartMath and Caring Science Caritas Certified Coach.

I welcome you and look forward to partnering with you on your journey to optimum-well-being.
