Joana Garcia

I’m a therapist dedicated to supporting individuals through a wide range of emotional challenges. I work with clients navigating depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, and self-esteem concerns with compassion and skill.

My areas of focus include helping you build self-love and confidence, improve communication in your relationships, and work through social anxiety. I also specialize in supporting survivors of sexual assault and abuse, those processing posttraumatic stress, and individuals exploring body image concerns. I have experience supporting clients through pregnancy and childbirth transitions, relationship structures including polyamory and non-monogamous relationships, seasonal affective patterns, dissociation, self-harm, and addiction.

I bring a client-centered approach grounded in evidence-based practices. My goal is to create a safe, affirming space where you feel heard and supported as you work toward healing and growth. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish, which allows me to serve a broader community.
