About Jill Arland

Life may feel overwhelming, confusing, scary and lonely at times; but you are not alone. It takes courage to seek out connection and support in therapy. I value the bravery and vulnerability that it takes to reach out for support, especially when life has caused pain or hurt in the past. Within the therapeutic process, I hope that you are able to find and learn to love your authentic self, so that you can find joy and connection within yourself and your relationships. I’m humbled and honored to walk alongside you in your journey towards healing and wholeness, providing empathy, encouragement, feedback and tools along the way. Relationships heal. Therapy is a safe place to learn what healthy and secure relationships feel like for you in your life.

I am clinically trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) for the treatment of trauma and acute stress disorders. I enjoy working with young adults, middle- aged and geriatric adults that are seeking to learn skills, change behavior, feel better and heal in a secure, empathetic and trusting therapeutic relationship. I utilize a person-centered theory in my therapeutic approach and always center treatment on what each client needs, whether they are experiencing anxiety, depression, grief or loss, low self-esteem, trauma or another difficulty.

I look forward to the opportunity to help you overcome these difficulties and create the positive changes you want to make for your future!

“Jill us a very good therapist. She has good insight. During conversations she does not place blame and is kind with sensitive topics. I have great confidence she is professional and will help us gain the marriage we desire.”

“Wonderfully trained. Bright individual”

“I have only had a few sessions with Jill, but I look forward to our conversations. She offers unique perspectives and had provided me with some resolution with some issues.”

“Jill is a God send! I’ve been considering counseling for a few years but have been nervous that In traditional settings it would take a few sessions to find the right “fit.” I love that we as patients are able to write about ourselves and our needs and we are paired with people who understand who we are and can meet those needs. Jill is so comfortable to talk with and I’ve left with great insight. I’ve shared the app three times already!”

“I've seen Jill for a few sessions now and starting with the first one, she's listened and engaged my concerns and thoughts. There have been several times she has helped me come to my own realizations/lessons. Jill is very knowledgeable, approachable, and helpful. Looking forward to working with her for as long as I may need.”
