About Drauzin Kern
As a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist in Louisiana, I have thirty-eight years of clinical and behavioral healthcare experience; having assisted, guided and supported hundreds of individuals, couples and families through extraordinarily complex life transitions and emotional challenges.
My practice centers on creating a compassionate, affirming space for clients navigating diverse experiences, including LGBTQ+journeys, relationship dynamics, communication skill development, personal growth, and healing from trauma.
I bring deep expertise in addressing depression, anxiety, self-esteem challenges, and interpersonal dynamics. My approach is holistic and person-centered, focusing on helping clients develop self-understanding, improve communication, and cultivate meaningful connections.
Whether you’re experiencing isolation, exploring identity, or working through life stage transitions, I offer supportive guidance tailored to your unique needs.
My therapeutic work spans a wide range of focus areas, from young adult challenges to midlife transitions, sexual health, caregiver stress, and veterans’ experiences. I’m committed to providing a non-judgmental, inclusive environment where individuals can explore their emotions, build resilience, and move toward greater personal empowerment.
