About Dr. Hallie Harper

About Me
My original plans were to pursue a nursing career, but life experiences afforded me the opportunity to pursue additional health professions; thus I chose another therapeutic occupation (Therapist) where there were various opportunities to work in the health industry. I am very glad I did. Not only do I enjoy being a part of the healthcare profession, I have learned that I enjoy meeting and helping people.

My Origin:
I was born in Mississippi, I am from a family of six children . A diversified healthcare promoter, educator and visionary, whose always had a passion to become a Health/Educator, who’s focus was to assist individuals through life-changing events. My educational journey has been rather interesting in terms of the various degrees that I have obtained. I have recently earned a E.D. (doctorate) in higher education with a concentration in health education. I am a Mental Health/Health Promotions Practitioner who has specialized in holistic living instruction. I am very passionate about working with individuals who are experiencing major problems . My hope is to promote health and education, by being an advocate for the mind, body and renewing of the spirit for those seeking a new path in life.

My vision is clear:
I believe strength comes from within , by striving to holistically empower others through patience, knowledge and understanding, so that everyone can believe reaching the ideal YOU is within reach.

I am currently a mental health counselor licensed in Nebraska with over 15 years of experience working as a licensed mental health counselor and life coach. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD, Bipolar and ADHD. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.

My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, client-centered, narrative and solution focused counseling. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!

She's not afraid to say things candidly when that's what one of us needs to hear, but also supports and encourages us by helping us talk through issues and giving us exercises to help strengthen our relationship moving forward.”
