About Detria
I’ve worked in mental health since 2009. I’m a licensed therapist in Louisiana. My counseling style is warm, kind, and real, and I like to use a little humor when it fits. I believe you can still laugh, even when things are hard.
I help people with a wide range of concerns. This includes depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting, career stress, OCD, and ADHD. I’ve also worked with many people who have experienced trauma or emotional abuse.
My approach is interactive and respectful. I treat everyone with compassion and don’t believe in labels. I pull from different styles like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and humanistic therapy to create a plan that works for you.
