About Derricia Walters

Hello,
My name is Dee, and I am a licensed mental health counselor. I currently hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Huntington University and am a PhD candidate for Counselor Education and Supervision at GCU. I use a person-centered approach to help my clients better understand their emotions, grow in self-compassion, and build a foundation for lasting change. I use a variety of techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based therapies, and somatic techniques to release stress and trauma from the body. Together, we’ll focus on your strengths and address barriers to your goals. I would be happy to walk alongside you on your mental health journey! My hours reflect the needs of clients experiencing mental health therapy needs in multiple time zones.
