David Sorrells

Hi, I’m David Sorrells, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) providing virtual therapy for adults in Texas and Colorado.

I specialize in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy and help people who feel overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally stuck, burned out, disconnected from themselves, or trapped in painful relationship and life patterns. Many of my clients struggle with overthinking, people-pleasing, perfectionism, shame, or feeling like they always have to hold everything together alone.

My approach is warm, grounded, collaborative, and deeply compassionate. I believe healing happens when we learn how to relate to ourselves with curiosity instead of judgment. Together, we’ll work to better understand the different parts of you, build emotional resilience, and help you feel more calm, confident, connected, and authentic in your daily life.

Before returning to private practice, I spent years leading teams in the corporate and tech world, so I understand firsthand the stress of high-pressure environments, burnout, identity shifts, and trying to succeed while caring for your mental and emotional well-being.

I strive to create a space where you can show up fully as yourself without fear of judgment.
