About Daniel Beasley

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker working with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship stress, identity concerns, and major life transitions. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, disconnected from themselves, or unsure how to move forward after difficult experiences.

If that’s where you are, you’re not alone—and it doesn’t have to stay that way.

My approach is trauma-informed, affirming, and grounded in genuine human connection. Therapy with me is a space where you can be honest without filters, while also working toward meaningful, realistic change. We’ll focus on understanding what’s underneath the stress—patterns, past experiences, and the ways you’ve learned to cope—while building practical tools to help you move forward with more clarity, stability, and hope.

I use evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and trauma-focused interventions, and tailor the work to your specific needs and goals. Treatment is always collaborative, and we will regularly check in on what’s working and adjust as needed.

You don’t have to feel completely ready to start therapy. It’s common to feel unsure, nervous, or even stuck—that’s something we can work through together. As we go, we’ll focus on building practical skills, insight, and direction at a pace that feels manageable. Therapy isn’t about quick fixes, but about creating meaningful, lasting change over time, with the goal of helping you move forward with greater confidence and clarity.

At the same time, therapy can remain a resource you return to during more difficult seasons. Support doesn’t have to be all-or-nothing.

I offer flexible scheduling, with a preference for Monday–Friday appointments, but I’m open to other days and times when needed. I don’t want scheduling to be the reason you don’t reach out.

For those who find it meaningful, I can incorporate conversations around meaning, purpose, and hope, including optional use of spiritual or faith-based perspectives. This is always guided by your values and preferences.

I strive to provide a respectful, nonjudgmental, and culturally responsive space, and I value open communication about your needs, preferences, and feedback throughout the process.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you’re used to handling things on your own. You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin. If part of you is ready for something to change, that’s enough to start.

“Dan is the man! He has helped me so much in the little time that I’ve been meeting with him. I would recommend him to anyone, but especially to young black men. Also BetterHelp in general, because of how affordable it is compared to other telehealth companies.”

“Dan’s engaged and empathetic mentality throughout our conversations has comforted and grounded me, allowing me to effectively work towards healing.”
